Multi-objective Optimization Design of Low Specific Speed Centrifugal Pumps Based on Genetic Algorithm

Aiming at the problems of low working efficiency and high energy loss in operation centrifugal pump, an intelligent algorithm for pump design was proposed. On basis hydraulic design, a multi-objective optimization mathematical model established. A Genetic (GA) designed to optimize major structural parameters optimal combination obtained. Calculation results suggested that optimized significantly augmented lower. The external characteristics test platform indicated head, had been effectively improved after optimization. Under rated conditions, based on GA increased head by 26.92%, boosted 32.28%, diminished 14.38%, which achieved expected goal. Obviously, is better than Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) improving performance pump. accuracy superiority were verified. This served reference future pumps with consumption.
